About

The Boston Key Gala is the American Cancer Society’s premier fundraising gala in New England, raising funds for the annual operating costs of the Hope Lodge in Boston. The 2025 Boston Key Gala will take place on October 17, 2025 at the SoWa Power Station in Boston’s South End. Attracting 300+ area business leaders, philanthropists, and high-net-worth individuals, the Boston Key Gala features a cocktail reception, seated dinner, a program with a live auction, and a mission moment to directly support the Hope Lodge in Boston. The evening is capped off with live entertainment and dancing.

Andrew Suchoff

Chief People Officer, Foundation Medicine

Andrew Suchoff serves as Foundation Medicine’s Chief People Officer. He brings more than 25 years of experience as a strategist and HR executive, with an extensive track record of developing inclusive and collaborative cultures, and leading global teams in the areas of organizational change, HR operations, learning and development, rewards and talent acquisition.

Prior to joining Foundation Medicine, Andrew served as the Global Head of People Operations and Talent Development at Stallergenes Greer, where he transitioned two distinct companies into one global franchise, creating and designing an HR structure and strategy. Previously, he held HR leadership positions at consumer goods, service and healthcare companies including Inventiv Health, Bausch and Lomb, Stream Global Services, EMD Serono, and Gillette. In some of these roles, he led organizations with more than 30 thousand employees across the globe to evolve their approaches in the delivery of HR transformational business results that aligned with changing business imperatives.

In his current role, Andrew collaborates with leaders across Foundation Medicine to shape and communicate the ongoing vision for the company’s people strategy. During his tenure, the company has been named a best place to work by the Boston Business Journal, the Triangle Business Journal, and the San Diego Business Journal, and was honored with the Best Place to Work Germany award. Under his leadership, Foundation Medicine launched the ANDEngage way of working, which represents the people-focused approach to how the company attracts, nurtures, develops and engages its employees. Andrew partners with the People Team in their mission to foster a market-shaping culture of innovation and collaboration, and to empower employees to live the company values in their daily work to transform cancer care for patients.

Andrew earned a B.S. in business administration from Northeastern University and has broad global experience, having lived and worked in Asia, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. He currently serves on the boards of the American Cancer Society and the Home for Little Wanderers and previously served on the board of Seeding Labs. He and his wife, Sandra, have two children (Evan and Izzy) and reside on the South Shore.

Mission Funding: Hope Lodge

American Cancer Society Hope Lodge® communities offer a home away from home for people facing cancer and their caregivers when cancer treatment is far away. Our 30+ Hope Lodge communities provide a free place to stay during treatment so people with cancer can focus on getting better. These communities provide comfortable guest suites with private baths, as well as inviting spaces with all the comforts of home, including a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry rooms, and places to gather or find a quiet respite – all at no cost to guests.
